More Republicans are drinking LESS vs Democrats according to Gallup Poll in July 2025
Republicans are drinking less according to a Gallup Poll, from 65% in 2023 to 46% in 2025 compared to Democrats 64% to 61%.
Data is from the Aug 13, 2025 Gallup Poll "US Drinking Rate at New Low as Alcohol Concerns Surge" by Lydia Saad
The percent of US Adults that consume alcohol is at the lowest percentage in the 90 year history of the Gallup Poll at just 54% and an 8pt drop from 2023 which was 62% drink alcohol. This poll was conducted from July 7-21, 2025.
Since 1939, Gallup has polled Americans drinking behavior and their views on the health implications on moderate drinking since 2001.

Since 2023 women have been drinking less from 62% to 51% in 2025
Those that make $100K+ the drop from 2023 to 2025 was 79% to 66%(-13pts) & those that at lower income<$40K was 53% to 39%(-14pts)
