Giesen new zealand Pinot Gris is an alcohol-removed wine that everyone can enjoy, no matter the occasion.

    • Made from our premium, full-strength New Zealand wine, Giesen 0% keeps all the best qualities of Giesen Estate Pinot Gris.

    • It’s aromatically expressive, crisp, and refreshing, with the varietal characteristics you know and love… only with the alcohol gently removed.

    • We select fruit from vineyards in Marlborough, Waipara and Hawke’s Bay to ensure beautiful, structural Pinot Gris with delicate floral aromatics and stonefruit flavours.

This alcohol-removed Pinot Gris features delicate floral notes with white flowers, lychee, and red apple on the nose. The palate offers traditional Pinot Gris characters of apple and pear with just a touch of muscat grape. Light, delicious, and balanced between acidity and sweetness.

Perfect for enjoying at home, out with friends and family, or any time you’d prefer a glass of wine without the after-effects.

And the added bonus…there are only 23 calories per 125ml serving (or 18 calories per 100ml glass) – 70% less calories than a full strength 12.5% alcohol/volume wine!

But is it wine?!

Non-alcoholic options give you everything you’d expect from a premium New Zealand wine. They go through the entire wine making process, before gently removing the alcohol. Here's how they make alcohol-removed wine.

Using innovative spinning cone technology popular in perfume-making, they separate the fragrance and alcohol from the body of the wine. They leave the alcohol behind, carefully collect up that delicate aroma you know and love from New Zealand Merlot, and add it back into the body of the wine. Just a touch of premium grape juice is the final ingredient - to lend a little extra body and hint of sweetness to the resulting blend.

This advanced form of distillation allows them to handle the wine gently, maintaining the integrity of their distinctive flavor palate and texture throughout the process.

Prefer their NA Sauvignon blanc

Pinot grigio was my go-to for casual white wine drinking, so I was excited to try a NA version. I thought this wine had a strange aftertaste, and was otherwise bland. I prefer Giesen’s NA sauvignon blanc!

Excellent white wine substitute

Giesen non-alcoholic Pinot Gris/Grigio fully satisfied my desire for a white wine substitute which I could enjoy as a sipping wine alone, or with chicken, fish, or pork. I hope you continue to offer it!

Non alcoholic Pinot Gris Recommendation

I love this wine and am really enjoying it this Dry July and will definitely buy it again. Tastes like nice regular wine.
